A slow and subtle descent…

I have always promised myself that I would never become a crotchety old lady.  But I have noticed a few behavioral changes lately that are really troublesome:

  • I caught myself parking near the area where you corral your grocery cart when you are done shopping. On purpose. So I would have to walk less after.
  • I paid extra for a later flight back from my upcoming girls trip to Miami because the thought of getting up after going out on Saturday night and catching the 7:20am flight with my (younger) friend nearly made me break out in hives (note: in all historical bookings, I have ALWAYS gone for the cheapest flight. “7:20? Who cares? We just won’t sleep…”)
  • I complain when there is slow service in restaurants
  • I have started going out in public with a messy bun and no make up on. Like, frequently.

I don’t know what’s happening to me. Time to bust out the Revlon Red lipstick and reclaim my youth.

Right there with ya! I also notice when my neighbors dont take in their trashcans promptly after trashday and people who use the express lane with more than 10 items really bug me! Never thought i would care about such things! Ha!
